Seeking Volunteers for Weekly Produce Donation Project
Help Us Make a Difference in Our Community!
The Spring Grove Chamber has successfully sponsored the Wednesday night Music & Market event with a Farmer’s Market, food served by non-profits, and live music. We would like to have a produce stand at the market with the income given to help stock the Little Free Pantry housed at Trinity.
We’re excited to announce this ongoing project to collect and distribute homegrown vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers for donation each week. To make this a success, we need your help! Volunteers are needed to donate items.Volunteers are also needed each week to set up a table and chairs, manage the donation basket, and ensure everything is ready by 5:00 pm so donors can drop off their produce. Music & Market runs 5-7pm from May 13 thru August 26. If there is inclement weather, the market will still happen, but will be moved to the front room at the American Legion.
